A little trip to inspiration land.....

July 31st is my favorite day of the year. I literally count down the days. This is the day of the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention. The convention travels around the country all year, but this is the stop that is closest to me....Valley Forge, PA. Every year I save my pennies, pack up my supplies, and head to the convention with my mother-in-law. We take classes, shop til we drop (literally, we drop from the weight of it all) and gain LOADS of inspiration. After spending Friday at the convention, we were armed with new ideas and tons of cool new materials. We set up the folding tables and got to work...all day on Saturday. My wonderful husband was on baby duty, so we had peace and quiet. We scrapped from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm. We did take a little break to hit up Whole Foods for some dinner, but I got a lot accomplished. Here are the layouts that I did at the convention and during our mega-crop. I have not journaled on them yet, but you can get the idea. And that is Jean and I at the the Technique Tuesday heaven. I am already stalking the website for next years classes...I really just can't help it. I confess....I'm addicted.

  1. Love the layouts. I keep telling Jay I want to come by and see all your goodies. I am definitely going next year. I have been trying to do a little scraping each week on all my old pictures. Thanks for keeping my excitement up. The layouts are amazing but the little guy in the pics is more amazing!
