Mother's Day memories....

This year Mother's Day was very low key. Jay let me "sleep in" (this is really just a gesture because by sleeping in I really just take my time coming downstairs, I'm not actually sleeping) and he made me pancakes. My awesome husband surprised me with a gift certificate for the Zen Mommy Package from Lotus Spa. I would be treated to 60 minute private yoga lesson, a 60 minute massage, and a 30 minute reflexology session. Ohhhhh my hubby knows me so well! We hung around the house in the morning and I had some free time to get a few things done. After naps we headed downtown, along with the rest of Annapolis, to feed the ducks and get ice cream. The line for ice cream was all the way down the sidewalk, but I had to wait it out because we had already mentioned this yummy treat to Austin and he kept repeating, "I ceem". It was delicious and well worth the wait. We walked to the park and played off our sugar rush before getting some yummy crepes for dinner. Sophie's Crepes is our new favorite place for a quick meal. Austin even tried out the cinnamon crepe and gave it a huge thumbs up. We had a wonderful day as a family and it was a great simple way to celebrate Mother's Day.
