My Top Picks for Kid Apps
Apps. I have a love/hate relationship with them. We have SO MANY. Yet, I find myself wanting more....more apps, better apps, better "teaching apps", etc. I like to keep Austin busy and cool apps do the job. Here are my top picks:
- Busytown
- Watch Disney Jr.
- Mickey Mouse Road Rally
- Minnie Mouse Puzzle
- Elmo ABC
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar counting
- Dora ABC
- Montessori ABC
- Thomas and Friends Hero Rails
- Trucks (by Duck Duck Moose)
- Old MacDonald (by Duck Duck Moose)
- Fish (by Duck Duck Moose)
- School Bus (by Duck Duck Moose)
- Alpha Tots
- Itsy Bitsy Spider (by Duck Duck Moose)
- Green Eggs and Ham
- 1 Fish 2 Fish
- Thomas and Friends Engine Activities
- Dora & Diego's Vacation Adventure
- Kids Poems
- Sesame Street Farm
- Eric Carle My Very First App
- Trucks Puzzle
- Eric Carle Stickers
- Kids Vehicles (City Trucks and Buses)
I also have an app called AppsGoneFree that alerts me each day of any apps that are free that day. This is how I got the Eric Carle apps as well as the Montessori ABC apps. I will admit that I often go a whole week without one app that interests me, but it's still worth checking out.
Maybe some new apps in your future will keep the kiddos entertained during a summer road trip or plane ride....or maybe to just go to the bathroom by yourself. Either way, download some new ones and your little ones will thank you :)
