In the past I have simply written our bucket list on a giant piece of paper and checked off items as the summer progressed. This year, I wanted something fun, creative, and more interactive. I had this ugly wood frame sitting in the basement I had bought back in February while in Kansas. I think it was $3. I knew I wanted to make it into a wire frame of sorts, and then I had the brilliant idea of using for our summer list!

I panted the frame with two coats of Demure Pink paint from Behr (I buy the samples from Home Deport for $3). I then used some chicken wire we had just hanging around and stapled it to the back. I had to hammer in the staples to make them super snug. I used 2x3 index cards to write all our bucket list items on, using a thin black Sharpie. Finally, I attached the cards using tiny wooden clothes pins from the craft store. I love how it turned out. I might need to make a bigger one for the future, but it's perfect for this summer.
