Earth Friendly Playdough (again)

I get asked often what recipe I use for play dough so I thought I'd share it here again. It's so easy and super fun! I make it every few months. I store it just in a ziplock bag and it will last for 4-6 months. You can add glitter, gel color (I find the colors with the gel dye are more vibrant and true), and even essential oils (lavender and peppermint are my favorites!!). Here's the recipe:

Earth Friendly Playdough

2 c flour
1 c salt
2 c water
2 T oil
3 T cream of tarter

Cool over medium heat until blended. Once it's a sticky ball, remove from heat and let cool 2 min in a glass bowl. Then you can kneed it until soft and non-sticky. Add in your extras and your ready to go!!

My kids are obsessed with brad lately. We cut out shapes and animals with the play dough and then use beads to decorate them.

Happy creating!
